In accordance with the CMB’s rules and regulations concerning corporate governance, the Committee for Early Detection of Risk has been set up to early detect the risks that may threaten the Company’s existence, development and survival, to implement the necessary measures for identified risks and to manage the risks. It is also charged with conducting reviews of the risk management systems at least on an annual basis. Through the reports issued and activities carried out during the reporting period, the Committee played an active role in the identification and analysis of important risks inherent in the Company’s operations, ensured that necessary information was provided to the Board of Directors with respect to monitoring the risk limits, and increased the efficiency of the Company’s risk systems.
